Yule arrives at winter solstice, the longest night of the year. On this night, the Sun reaches its lowest point, pausing briefly before beginning its slow return and reverses the rise of Winter. For our ancestors, this was a moment of hope and renewal—a promise of warmth and light to come.

And as the Holly King is laid to rest and the Oak King is reborn, nature wakes from its slumber, heralding brighter days ahead. Families and friends gather by the fire, exchange small gifts, and weave evergreen branches throughout their homes, as a symbol of life´s resilience and strength during this Heart of Winter.
